07/29/2006 - Representatives from the opera organizations gathered at the CCBA Conference Room, to draw for the performing order during the Double Ten Nation Day Performance.
07/29/2006 - The Committee for the Confucius Memorial Ceremony hosted a press conference at the CCBA meeting room, to release the detail information of the ceremony, that will be host on September 24 in Chinatown.
07/26/2006 - President Eric Ng attended the DC Comics Super Heroes Stamp Dedication Ceremony, hosted by the United States Postal Service, Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, and the DC Comic Company.
07/26/2006 - Representatives from the United Baodiao Association, who are raising money for their next trip protesting the ownership of the Diao Yu Tai Islands, visited CCBA to seek support.
07/26/2006 - Ellen Young, who is running for the 22nd assembly district, visited CCBA.
07/24/2006 - Mr. King Sheng Wong is re-elected the principal of the New York Chinese School.
07/24/2006 - Republican New York State Governor Candidate John Faso, who was a former member and minority leader of the New York State Assembly from 1998 until April 2002, visited CCBA.
07/24/2006 - New York City Commissioner of Transportation Iris Weinshall and a few senior officials visited CCBA.  She announced that the newly installed parking meters on Canal Street and Division Street would start operating on 7/29.  President Eric Ng proposed to Commissioner Weinshall the issues in Chinatown, including parking, traffic safety, potholes, Chinatown Arch, etc.
07/23/2006 - President Eric Ng presented the trophies to the winners of the Annual North American Chinese Invitational Volleyball Tournament. The winners are: Men's winning team: D.C. Hipsing; Men's second place: New York Stranger; Women's winning team: Toronto Phoenix; Women's second place: N.Y. Purple Monkey.
07/22/2006 - President Eric Ng attended the opening ceremony of the Annual North American Chinese Invitational Volleyball Tournament.
07/19/2006 - Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi, who is running for New York State Governor, visited CCBA.

07/18/2006 - Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer officially visited CCBA.  President Eric Ng reflected to him different needs of Chinatown and the Borough President described how he would help the community.
07/10/2006 - Chinatown District City Councilmember Alan Gerson visited CCBA, to discuss different issues in Chinatown, including the Chinatown Arch, parking, traffic safety and sanitation issues.

07/06/2006 - The Chinese American Voters Federation held a meeting in CCBA, and elected officers of the federation.  From the election, the President of CCBA will automatically become the board chairman, Peter Lau was elected President, and York Chan was elected Honorable President.
07/03/2006 - Mendel Hagler, Executive Director of Gouverneur Healthcare Services, visited CCBA and introduced their services and upcoming anniversary fundraising dinner.
