08/31/2005 - Community leaders from Chinatown held an event in CCBA to support Judge Doris Ling-Cohan for New York State Appellate Court.
08/31/2005 - Speaker of New York City Council, and New York City Mayoral Candidate Gifford Miller announced his school plan in front of CCBA.
08/27/2005 - Vice Principal of South China Agriculture University in China visited CCBA.  President York Chan is an alumni of the university.
08/24/2005 - Andrew Resiej, a candidate running for New York City Public Advocate visited CCBA.
08/17/2005 - The President of Beth Israel Hospital visited CCBA.
08/17/2005 - NYC Department of Aging Commissioner Edwin Méndez-Santiago attended a health forum held in CCBA
08/15/2005 - A Holocaust Center introducing the Japanese invasion during WWII was opened in Queensborough Community College.  President York Chan attended the opening ceremony. 
08/14/2005 - CCBA, Chinatown Youth Initiatives, and NYC Department of Sanitation held a Cleanup Chinatown event.
