04/29/2008 - The Beth Israel Hospital hosted a press conference at CCBA, to announce their reception of $660,000 funded by the Langeloth Foundation. The funding will be used to benefit Chinese-American patients and their families.
04/21/2008 - Representatives from the Global Alliance for Democracy and Peace from the Greater New York area visited CCBA.
04/21/2008 - U.S. Councilwoman Nydia M. Velázquez visited CCBA and discussed different issues with the President Justin Yu and other community leaders.
04/18/2008 - The 20th Annual Chinese-American College Information Program will be hosted in CCBA Auditorium on April 27, 2087.  The sponsor organizations held a press conference in CCBA to announce the details.  President Justin Yu presented a proclamation to Ann Kaplan, who initiated the program 20 years ago.
04/16/2008 - Tim Kovarik, Donna DiCarlo, Digna Betancourt Swingle and Cynthia M. Marshallfrom from the New York State Office for the Aging visited CCBA and Chinatown, to understand the needs of the elderly in Chinatown.
04/16/2008 - A Taiwan businessman, who had donated to support oversea Chinese language education activities, visited CCBA.
04/15/2008 - The New York City Police Department held a celebration breakfast at its headquarters, to celebration the Immigrant Heritage Week, and presented a proclamation to CCBA.
04/15/2008 - New York City Council Member John Liu visited New York Chinese School.
04/12/2008 - A delegation from Zhongshan, China, visited CCBA to learn about the history of Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
04/11/2008 - CCBA presented the rest of the donation ($12,912.23) raised for the China Snowstorm to the American Red Cross.  American Red Cross Manhattan Area Office director Sonia Martinez visited CCBA and accepted the donation.  She also discussed the future cooperation between CCBA and the Red Cross.
04/10/2008 - New York City Council Member John Liu visited CCBA, and observed the operation of CCBA's Free Naturalization Service. He proclaimed the volunteers for their contribution to the community.
04/09/2008 - Community leaders met at CCBA to discuss the arrangement to celebrate the R.O.C. presidential victory of Mr. Ma Ying-jeou and Mr. Vincent Siew.
04/07/2008 - Three famous community ladies visited CCBA and donated $1000 to New York Chinese School.
04/02/2008 - President Justin Yu attended the American Cancer Society's Spring of Hope fund-raising dinner, and took pictures with all the honorees, including Lin Sing Association and former President Eric Ng.
04/02/2008 - Chinatown District City Councilmember Alan Gerson visited CCBA, to discuss different issues in Chinatown, including the Chinatown Arch, parking, traffic safety and other community issues.

04/01/2008 - The New York Chinese American Bankers Association donated $1250 to New York Chinese School.
