10/26/2009 - The New York Chinese School hosted a historic photos gallery at the CCBA Conference Room, to celebrate its centennial anniversary.

10/21/2009 - Kevin Kim, a candidate of City Council 19th District in Flushing, visited CCBA
10/18/2009 - The Chinatown and Little Italy communities celebrated the formation of New York State historic district at the Chinatown / Little Italy area.  The New York State also recognized the day ask "Marco Polo Day".
10/16/2009 - At the annual gala dinner of Organization of Chinese Americans Long Island Chapter , President Justin Yu and other community leaders met with the first female Congresswoman July Chu.
10/16/2009 - President Justin Yu attended the annual gala dinner of Organization of Chinese Americans Long Island Chapter and accepted the Distinguished Community Advocacy Award on behalf of CCBA.
10/10/2009 - CCBA hosted the annual "Double Ten" National Day Celebration for the Republic of China.  TECO Ambassador Andrew Kao and many government officials attended to celebrate this special event.  Ambassador Kao also presented the Certificate of Appointment to President Justin Yu and Advisor Eric Ng as commissioners of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission.
10/08/2009 - President Justin Yu, President Jack Eng, President James Wong attended an event of Brooklyn Chinese Association to celebrate its 16th anniversary.
10/02/2009 - President Justin Yu and other CCBA board members visited a few senior centers with large amount of Chinese population in the 5 boroughs, to express greeting to them for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
10/02/2009 - The Chinese communities in New York continued to deliver their donation to the flooding disaster in Taiwan to CCBA.
