Governor Cuomo to run for Lieutenant Governor, visited CCBA
with Councilwoman Margaret Chin. President Eric Ng and
the community leaders discussed the issues in Chinatown,
including parking, affording housing, high property tax,
etc. |

- Chen Yan, the mother of a little girl He Jia Ying who has
been diagnosed with Eye Cancer, came to CCBA to ask for
financial assistance on the medical treatments from the community. The Chinese American Independent Practice Association
(CAIPA) donated $10,000 to the family, and hoped the
community will continue to donate more assistance to this

MVP from Maryland for the men's teams, and Ying Wai from

New York Chinese Volleyball Mini Tournament. The
2-days event will be held at the Seward Park this weekend
and over 90 teams will be participating. |
