04/30/2014 - In the monthly CCBA board meeting, all board members voted for CCBA's position to oppose the Chinatown Working Group's proposal, which listed some of the buildings of CCBA member organizations as "Buildings of Historic Significance".  CCBA will notify the elected officials and the community boards our opposition against the proposal.
04/29/2014 - Rob Astorino, a Republican candidate running for the Governor of New York State, visited CCBA.
04/26/2014 - President Eric Ng attended the annual Chinatown Cherry Blossom Festival at Confucius Plaza.

04/24/2014 - CCBA held an emergency meeting, notifing some of our member organizations that 13 buildings owned by CCBA members were found identified as "Buildings of Historic Significance" by a proposal of the Chinatown Working Group.  Chinatown Working Group did not notify the landlords of these buildings about this proposal. 

04/18/2014 - President Eric Ng, Advisor Just Yu and other community leaders attended a volunteer appreciation event at Gouverneur Healthcare System. 
04/14/2014 - Major Charlie Lewis and 3 students from Military Academy West Point visited CCBA.
04/11/2014 - President Eric Ng and other community leaders visited different CCBA cemeteries during the Ching Ming Festival.
04/10/2014 - Con Edison held a seminar at CCBA Auditorium to give out information about energy saving for small businesses.

04/09/2014 - President Eric Ng attended the annual Sping of Hope fundraising gala for the American Cancer Society Asian Initiative, and presented a community service award to former President Paul Ng.

 

04/09/2014 - Councilwoman Margaret Chin, CCBA and New York Legal Assistance Group held a press conference, to announce a weekly legal assistance service for naturalization at CCBA every Thursday starting on April 10.

 

04/03/2014 - The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office hosted a dinner in Chinatown to meet the new board members of CCBA.
04/02/2014 - Con Edison held a press conference to announce an energy saving seminar that will be held at CCBA on April 10.
04/02/2014 - President Eric Ng, President John Ngai of Ning Yung Association, President Jerry Shiao of Lin Sing Association visited Captain Fernando Burgos, the Commanding Officer of NYPD Fifth Precinct.
04/01/2014 - The American Cancer Society Eastern Division hosted a press conference at CCBA, to announce details of the fund-raising dinner planned for April 9.
