03/29/2009 - CCBA hosted the annual Youth Day celebration at the meeting room, and recognized five outstanding youths.
03/27/2009 - President Justin Yu and other community leaders attended the annual Fund Raising Dinner of Saint Vincent's Hospital's Living-at-Home Program.
03/27/2009 - The 21st Annual Chinese-American College Information Program will be hosted in CCBA Auditorium on April 5, 2007.  The sponsor organizations held a press conference in CCBA to announce the details.
03/24/2009 - President Justin Yu attended an event to welcome Madame Jiang Yiman, Executive Vice President of the Red Cross Society of China, and the delegation to present the updated information of the Sichuan Earthquake to the donors in the U.S.
03/21/2009 - Dr. Y.Y. Wu, the Minister of the Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission, and Dr. Yi-Huah Jiang, the Minister of Research, Development and Evaluation Commission of the Republic of China, visited New York and held a seminar to explain the re-organization of Executive Yuan in R.O.C.  Community leaders were strongly against the plan that merges the Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
03/16/2009 - Acting President Jack Eng attended the Anniversary of the Sixth Avenue Senior Center of the Brooklyn Chinese-American Association.
03/13/2009 - CCBA held the annual Board Member Election in CCBA.  Beside the seven permanent board members, the elected members are:  Chew Lun Association, Wong Family Benevolent Association, Lee's Family Association, Eng Suey Sun Association, American Legion L.T. Kimlau Post 1291, Tsung Tsin Association, Moy's Family Association, Hok Shan Society, Tai Pun Yook Ying Association, Soo Yuen Association, Hoy Yen Association and Yan Ping Association.  The backup board members are:  Hoy Ping Hong Hing Association, Lun Yee Association, Yee Fong Toy Association.
03/13/2009 - New York City Council Member David Weprin visited CCBA.  Councilman Weprin is running for NYC Comptroller this year.
03/12/2009 - CCBA held the annual memorial ceremony for the death of the Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
03/11/2009 - Dr. Russell Kellogg, the Chairperson of Saint Vincent Hospital's Living-at-Home Program, visited CCBA.  The program will host a find raising dinner on March 27.

03/10/2009 - American Red Cross of Greater New York hosted a press conference at CCBA, to report their work for the tragic fire on February 24, and the current status of the affected tenants.
