10/28/2021 - Annable Palma, the newly appointed Commissioner of NYC Commission of Human Rights, visited CCBA and President Justin Yu with Director Flora Ferng, to discuss Asian Hate Crime issues and discriminations against Asian Americans.

10/26/2021 - Suraj Jaswal, who is running for New York City 25th District City Council in Queens, visited CCBA and President Justin Yu.

10/20/2021 - Daniel Vigeant and 16 students from the Eisenhower Leader Development Program at Columbia University and Military Academy West Point visited CCBA.

 

10/14/2021 - CCBA started to provide the 3rd booster shots of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines to qualified elderly in the community.
10/14/2021 - The Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) held a press conference at CCBA and announced the forming of the Hate Eradiation Active Response Team (HEART) to support community members who have suffered a bias incident or hate crime.
10/10/2021 - CCBA hosted the annual Republic of China Double Ten National Day Celebration. Due to the pandemic, CCBA once again only kept the Chinatown Double Ten decorations, the flag rising ceremony in front of CCBA, the flower presentation ceremony to the statue of Sun Yat-sen at Columbus Park and the celebration ceremony at CCBA Auditorium.

Due to the pandemic, CCBA once again only kept the Chinatown Double Ten decorations, the flag rising ceremony in front of CCBA, the flower presentation ceremony to the statue of Sun Yat-sen at Columbus Park and the celebration ceremony at CCBA Auditorium.

10/09/2021 - President Justin Yu, Advisor Jerry Shiao and community leaders from Chinatown went to Flushing to attend the Flag Raising Ceremony in Queens to celebrate the 110th Double Ten National Day of Republic of China.

10/06/2021 - CCBA and NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital Chinese Community Partnership for Health Program held a press conference to announce an one-day flu shot event at CCBA on Tuesday, October 19.

10/05/2021 - CCBA held a press conference to announce the vaccination service of the 3rd booster shots for the qualified Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine recipients who completed their initial series at least 6 months ago.

10/05/2021 - Christopher Marte, who is running for New York City 1st District (Chinatown) City Council, visited CCBA and President Justin Yu.
10/03/2021 - The Chinatown community held a series of events to memorize the death of Private Danny Chen, who died by suicide at 19 after being haved by fellow soldiers in Afghanistan 10 years ago.
10/01/2021 - CCBA held a press conference to announce this year's simplified plans to celebrate the 110th Double Ten National Day of Republic of China. Due to the pandemic, CCBA will once again only keep the Chinatown Double Ten decorations, the flag rising ceremony in front of CCBA at 12pm, the flower presentation ceremony to the statue of Sun Yat-sen at Columbus Park and the celebration ceremony at the CCBA Auditorium on October 10.
