09/27/2005 - President York Chan attended the annual Gala dinner of New York Downtown Hospital.

09/26/2005 - CCBA received donations for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
09/23/2005 - President Chan attended the annual dinner of Organization of Chinese Americans New York Chapter and received the Outstanding Leadership Award.
09/22/2005 - Democratic Mayoral Candidate Fernando Ferrer visited CCBA after winning the primary election.
09/22/2005 - CCBA received donations for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
09/21/2005 - the Taiwan Aboriginal Protest Delegation to the United Nations, leaded by Su-Mei Chin Kao, visited CCBA.
09/20/2005 - President York Chan attended the 120th Anniversary Fundraising Dinner of Gouverneur Hospital.  CCBA donated $20,000 to Gouverneur.
09/19/2005 - Two organizations presented the hurricane donation they collected to President York Chan.
09/18/2005 - President York Chan met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Li Zhaoxing in Lincoln Center, New York.
09/15/2005 - A Chinese Ready New York seminar was held in Chinatown.  The events was organized by American Red Cross of Greater New York, and co-sponsored by CCBA, CPC and Chinatown YMCA.
09/14/2005 - President York Chan met President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China in New York.
09/09/2005 - Representatives from the American Red Cross of Greater New York visited CCBA to announce the Chinese Ready New York seminar.  CCBA presented the collected donation for Hurricane Katrina to ARCGNY at the same time.
09/07/2005 - CCBA and Chinese-American Voters Federation held a Manhattan Borough Presidential Debate in the auditorium.  It was another successful event for showing the political power from Chinese Americans.
09/07/2005 - Community leader Mr. Lau Yuk-Nam donated $5000 toward Hurricane Katrina.
09/03/2005 - CCBA thanked and presented awards to the students who volunteered in CCBA during the summer.
