01/28/2022 - CCBA held a Town Hall Meeting at the auditorium to discuss the shelter Issues in Chinatown. Many elected officials, community leaders and residents attended and express their oppositions to the shelter projects.
01/25/2022 - Dr. Shango Blake, Executive Director of NYC Speaks held a press conference at CCBA to promote NYC Speaks, a public engagement and government transformation initiative that will seek to make good on the promise of democracy via direct engagement between and among everyday New Yorkers to inform the priorities and policies of the new Mayor and his administration. The survey is available at https://nycspeaks.org/ before February 11.
01/20/2022 - President Justin Yu attended a rally against anti-Asian attacks and remember Yao Pan Ma and Michelle Go, who were victims from the violence.
01/11/2022 - Mr. Raymond Tsang was elected the 67th President of CCBA. Inauguration ceremony will be held on March 1.
01/05/2022 - NYPD 5th Precinct held the first community meeting of the year at CCBA.  Some community residents and businesses reflected that some activities that no longer considered crimes are affecting the safety and quality of life in the neighborhood.

01/01/2022 - CCBA hosted the annual New Year and Republic of China government establishment celebration.  During the celebration, CCBA presented the "Key to Chinatown" to former City Council members Margaret Chin and Peter Koo, to thank for their contributions to the Chinese community during their terms.
