12/30/2009 - Vincent Chi, the deputy general director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York, will be assigned to Taiwan soon. CCBA hosted a farewell party, and presented him an appreciation plaque.

12/23/2009 - The secretary of Hoy Sun Ning Yung Association issued an official letter to CCBA, nominating Jack Eng and John Ngai to be the candidates of the next CCBA Presidency, Lam T. Eng to be the Chinese secretary.
12/22/2009 - Camella Pinkney-Price, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Bronx Borough President Office, visited CCBA and discussed a plan with President Justin Yu to host a Chinese new year party in the Bronx in 2010.
12/21/2009 - Manhattan District Attorney Elect Cyrus Vance, Jr.  visited CCBA, and thanked for the supports during the election from the Chinese-American community..
12/18/2009 - CCBA hosted a press conference at the meeting room, to announce the formation of the "Republic of China Centennial Preparatory Commission of Eastern United States" on January 1, 2010. CCBA asked for participation and supports from the local organizations.
12/16/2009 - Many organizations including CCBA, Chinese-American Planning Council, Asian American for Equality, hosted a farewell party at the CCBA meeting room, for Chinatown district Councilman Alan Gerson..
12/11/2009 - New York State Senator Daniel Squadron hosted a round-table conference at CCBA.  Many community leaders and organizations' executives attended the event.
12/11/2009 - The American Cancer Society Eastern Division Asian Initiatives hosted a press conference at the CCBA Meeting Room, to announced two breast cancer screenings for the community scheduled for December 19, 2009 and January 30, 2010.
12/10/2009 - The Visiting Nurse Service of New York Chinatown Service Center held its 10th Anniversary at the CCBA auditorium for the elderly.
12/04/2009 - President Justin Yu, President James Wong, President Jack Eng attended the gala dinner of the Asian Community United Society in Brooklyn, and received a Community Service Award from ACUS.
12/01/2009 - Following the tradition, CCBA issued an official notice to Hoy Sun Ning Yung Association, to request them to nominate the candidates for the next CCBA presidency.  Hoy Sun Ning Yung Association should submit the list of candidates to CCBA by December 24.
