07/17/2008 - Chinese American organizations and individuals continued to donate to the victims in the China's earthquake area. Today's contributors including the First American International Bank and the Transfiguration Church Kindergarten.
07/16/2008 - Representatives from the Ling Jiou Mountain Buddhist Society visited CCBA and invited President Justin Yu to attend an event on August 31.
07/16/2008 - Cathay Bank donated scholarship to the students of the New York Chinese School.
07/14/2008 - New York Chinese School held the annual Board Member Election in CCBA auditorium.  Beside the seven permanent board members, the elected members are:  Chew Lun Association, Wong Family Benevolent Association, Eng Suey Sun Association, Lee's Family Association,  Hok Shan Society,  Tsung Tsin Association,  Hoy Yin Association, Tai Pun Yook Ying Association and Yan Ping Association.  The backup board members are: American Legion L.T. Kimlau Post 1291, Hoy Ping Hong Hing Association and Yee Fong Toy Association.
07/14/2008 - The N-NORC Program of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York held a seminar at CCBA, to introduce health information  by Dr. Rex Wu.

07/11/2008 - CCBA presented more collected earthquake donation to the American Red Cross.  CCBA has raised $1,231,906.92 since the May 12 Earthquake two months ago.

07/11/2008 - A Community Working Group met at the CCBA meeting room.  Many officials and community leaders attends the conference.
07/10/2008 - Magna Carta Insurance Company raised $10,000 for the victims in the China Earthquake.  Vice-President Louis Masucci and other dealers presented the donations to CCBA and the American Red Cross, to assist the victims in the affected area.
07/10/2008 - John G. Chromczak, who is running for State Senate for the 25th District, visited CCBA and the weekly Naturalization Program.
07/09/2008 - Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer held a press conference at CCBA, to announce an Immigration Assistance Day on July 12. He encouraged Chinese Americans to attend and use the public services provided by the government.
07/07/2008 - A World War II memorial ceremony was held at the CCBA meeting room.
