08/31/2006 - CCBA and the Chinese-American Voters Federation held a "Community Leadership - Voting For Our Future" event, to encourage Chinese-Americans to register and to vote in the upcoming elections.
08/28/2006 - The Chinese-American Voters Federation held a press conference in CCBA, to announce details of their "Community Leadership - Voting For Our Future" event on Thursday, August 31.
08/25/2006 - Ms. Hong Guo, a professor of Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences who participates in an International Visitor Leadership Program, visited CCBA along with U.S. Department of State officer .
08/23/2006 - Officials from the The Port Authority of NY & NJ visited CCBA. They hope the Chinese-Americans in New York City can support a direct flight proposal between New York and Shanghai by the Continental Airline.

08/20/2006 - President Eric Ng attended a festive summer barbeque to celebrate community leadership hosted by Mayor Bloomberg at the Gracie Mansion.
08/19/2006 - Legislator Kuo Su-Chun from Republic of China visited CCBA, and met President Eric Ng and other community leaders.
08/19/2006 - President Eric Ng appreciated the volunteer students who had helped residents to register as voters during the summer.
08/17/2006 - President Eric Ng, who also serves as the board chairman of the New York Chinese School, attended the graduation ceremony of the school's summer program.

08/09/2006 - After reported by the New York Daily news, the enforcement illegal parking problem has been eliminated.  The picture shows a part of Mulberry Street without enforcement parking during daytime.
08/08/2006 - President Eric Ng attended the press conference hosted by Gouverneur Hospital, regarding their 121st Year Anniversary Fundraising Dinner.
08/08/2006 - The Neighborhood Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NNORC) Plan, pushed by the Visiting Nurse Service, CCBA, NY Downtown Hospital and Chinese-American Planning Council, had a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted at CCBA's auditorium.  President Eric Ng, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, NYC Commissioner of Department for the Aging Edwin Méndez-Santiago, Councilman John Liu, CPC executive director David Chen, and Ms. Tammy To from Councilman Alan Gerson's office attended the ceremony.
