03/31/2008 - Jeffrey Menkes, the president and CEO of New York Downtown Hospital and other executive staffs visited CCBA, and thanked for the continuous supports from the Chinese community.
03/31/2008 - President Justin Yu, Acting President Tim Ho of Lin Sing Association, Acting President Eric Ng of Hoy Sun Ning Yung Association and other community leaders went to the tombs praying ceremony in many different cemeteries.
03/29/2008 - CCBA hosted the annual Youth Day celebration at the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Auditorium, recognized four outstanding young teachers, and celebrated Mr. Ma Ying-jeou and Mr. Vincent Siew's landslide victory in the presidential election in Taiwan, the Republic of China.
03/27/2008 - President and CEO Samuel Lehrfeld and Management Consultant Eugene Yee of the Brooklyn Hospital Center visited CCBA.
03/26/2008 - The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office of New York held a dinner to congratulate the newly elected CCBA board members.
03/26/2008 - President Justin Yu attended the Chinatown N-NORC Advisory Board Meeting for his first time, and listened to the requests from senior citizens.
03/20/2008 - CCBA celebrated and congratulated Mr. Ma Ying-jeou and Mr. Vincent Siew's landslide victory in the presidential election in Taiwan, the Republic of China.
03/20/2008 - President Justin Yu chaired the first CCBA board meeting in his term. All the board members took a group picture after the meeting.
03/19/2008 - Telemundo T47 Channel managing editor Martha Jaimes, news anchor Patsi Arias and weather anchor Andrea Romero visited CCBA.
03/19/2008 - E-Trade Financial donated $3000 to New York Chinese School.
03/18/2008 - Rona Shapiro, Tunde Weekes and Henry Ye from the 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Union visited CCBA.
03/17/2008 - President Justin Yu and Mr. Sheung Ying Ng went to Albany to attend the inauguration ceremony of Governor David Paterson.
03/17/2008 - Chinatown Neighborhood Occurring Retirement Community hosted a seminar at the CCBA meeting room to provide stress release information to senior citizens.
03/14/2008 - President Justin Yu attended the New York State Women of Excellence Award Celebration hosted by Lieutenant Governor David Paterson.
03/14/2008 - Board members of the Chinatown Partnership Local Development Corporation visited CCBA, and seek for CCBA's support to their fund raising dinner in June.
03/13/2008 - CCBA held the annual Board Member Election in CCBA.  Beside the seven permanent board members, the elected members are:  Moy's Family Association, Nam Shum Association, Tsung Tsin Association, American Legion L.T. Kimlau Post 1291, Lee's Family Association, Wong Family Benevolent Association, Eng Suey Sun Association, Chew Lun Association, Hok Shan Society, Tai Pun Yook Ying Association, Hoy Yen Association and Yan Ping Association.  The backup board members are:  Yee Fong Toy Association, Hoy Ping Hong Hing Association and Lun Yee Association.
03/12/2008 - The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Auditorium is officially renamed at the 83rd annual memorial ceremony for the death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
03/12/2008 - The American Cancer Society Eastern Division hosted a press conference at CCBA, to announce details of the fund-raising dinner planned for April 2.
03/11/2008 - Charles B. Wang Community Health Center Chief Operating Officer Betty Cheng and other executive staffs visited CCBA.
03/10/2008 - The N-NORC Program of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York held a seminar at CCBA to introduce fire safety information.
03/05/2008 - To indicate the importance of renaming the CCBA Auditorium to Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Auditorium, CCBA receive the tablets from former Kuomintang chairman Ma Ying-jeou and current Kuomintang chairman Wu Po-hsiung.
03/05/2008 - President Justin Yu held his first Precinct - Community Conference in his term.
03/05/2008 - Former Washington Governor Gary Locke and Former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta visited CCBA, to introduce the American Opportunity Fund. a newly formed non-profit organization which encourages non-Caucasian American to run for public offices.
03/04/2008 - The On Leong Association, Hip Sing Association and Chinese Freemason will host a free clinical checkup event at CCBA on March 29.
03/03/2008 - NYPD Fifth Precinct commanding officer Deputy Inspector Gin Yee, Assistant Mr. Shuck Seid, and CAB Officer Suk Too visited CCBA and President Justin Yu.
03/01/2008 - CCBA hosted the annual Lunar New Year dinner, and presented 3 "golden keys" to New York City Mayor's Community Affairs Unit, NYPD Fifth Precinct Commanding Officer Deputy Inspector Gin Yee, and Governor Spitzer's assistant of Asian Affairs George Hu.  They have been very supportive to improve Chinatown last year.
