03/31/2006 - The United Fujianese Americans Association held a dinner to greet the inauguration of President Eric Ng.
03/31/2006 - President Eric Ng attended a meeting of the Chinese-American Voters Federation, and became the honor President of the CAVF.    Members of the Federation agreed to participate in the two immigration rallies on April 1 and April 10.
03/31/2006 - Chinatown CERT was established and hosted a press conference in CCBA.  CCBA will become an Emergency Center immediately if there is any disaster issue occurred.
03/30/2006 - President Eric Ng chaired the first CCBA board meeting in his term.
03/26/2006 - CCBA, New York Chinese School, and Kuomingtong hosted a celebration of Youth Festival in the auditorium.
03/25/2006 - New York State Senator Ruben Diaz visited CCBA, and asked for support to protest a proposal which criminalizes aid programs for immigrants.
03/24/2006 - Representatives from Fukien American Association, including President Chen Qing-Quan, President Elected Shi Shui-Mei, visited CCBA.
03/24/2006 - The 18th Annual Chinese-American College Information Program will be hosted in CCBA Auditorium on April 2nd, 2006.  The sponsor organizations held a press conference in CCBA to announce the details.
03/23/2006 - President Eric Ng attended the grand opening ceremony of the Manhattan Surgical Specialties Clinic of New York Downtown Hospital located in Chinatown.
03/22/2006 - CCBA hosted the annual Chinese New Year Dinner.  Hundreds of guests including officials, community leaders and CCBA staffs attended the event.
03/21/2006 - Mainland Chinese officials from Wenchang City of Hainan Province visited CCBA.
03/21/2006 - Representatives from the Beth Israel Medical Center, including President/Chief Executive Officer David Shulkin M.D., Senior Vice President of Administration Deborah Visconi, visited CCBA.
03/20/2006 - CCBA hosted a welcoming party in Chinatown for Mayor Ma Ying-jeou of Taipei, who is also the chairman of the Kuomingtong Party.  CCBA arranged a time for the residents to take pictures with this popular Mayor.
03/20/2006 - Mayor Ma Ying-jeou of Taipei, who is also the chairman of the Kuomingtong Party, visited CCBA and gave a speech in the auditorium.
03/18/2006 - Ambassador Jason C. Yuan, the representative of the  Kuomingtong Party and People First Party U.S.A. Representative Office, visited CCBA.  He promised Kuomingtong would maintain a close relationship with the oversea traditional Chinese communities.
03/16/2006 - The American Cancer Society’s Chinese Unit and CCBA hosted a special Fabulous At 50 Birthday Party event in an effort to raise awareness among the Chinese community about the importance of the early detection of colon cancer and the methods of early detection that are available to them.
03/16/2006 - Dr. Russell Kellogg, the Chairperson of Saint Vincent Hospital's Living-at-Home Program, visited CCBA.  The program will host a find raising dinner in April 28th.
03/16/2006 - Eric Adams, who is running for State Senate of the 20th District in Brooklyn visited CCBA.
03/16/2006 - President Eric Ng met Cindy Tacket, the manager of Stamp Exhibitions and Products of United States Postal Services in a stamps exhibition.  President Ng suggested U.S.P.S. to host the "Year of Pig Serious" event in CCBA next year.
03/15/2006 - CCBA held the annual Board Member Election in CCBA.  Beside the seven permanent board members, the elected members are:  Moy's Family Association, Chew Lun Association, Gee How Oak Tin Association, Wong Family Benevolent Association, Soo Yuen Association, Lee's Family Association, Tsung Tsin Association, Eng Suey Sun Association, Hoy Yen Association, Hok Shan Society, Yan Ping Association and American Legion L.T. Kimlau Post 1291.  The backup board members are: Tai Pun Yook Ying Association, Nam Shum Association and Chee Tuck Sam Tuck Association.
 
03/13/2006 - Dr. Bruce Logan, the Executive Director and CEO of New York Downtown Hospital and representatives visited CCBA.  They introduced their updated services and plans to the Chinese community.
03/12/2006 - CCBA held the annual memorial ceremony for the death of the Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
03/11/2006 - President Eric Ng attended a reception dinner of the Organization of Chinese Americans New York Chapter.
03/10/2006 - President Eric Ng attended the One Year Anniversary of the Sixth Avenue Senior Center of the Brooklyn Chinese-American Association.
03/08/2006 - CCBA held a press conference to announce the detail information regarding the visit of Ying-jeou Ma, the Chairman of Kuomintang, who is also the Mayor of Taipei.  He will visit CCBA and Chinatown in March 20.
03/08/2006 - President Eric Ng held his first Precinct - Community Conference in his term.  The Problem of Parking Spaces in Chinatown was the main topic to be discussed in the meeting.
03/06/2006 - Representatives from the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, Program Director Regina Hawkey of the Congregate Care Program, and Nurse Liufang Mien from the Chinatown Program, visited CCBA and explained their programs to President Ng.
03/03/2006 - President Eric Ng attended and spoke at a press conference held at the City Hall Steps to support Ms. Zhen Xing Jiang.  Ms. Jiang claimed that the Immigration Department mistreated her and caused her to miscarriage her twins.
03/01/2006 - The Wong Family Benevolent Association and Eng Suey Sun Association held a dinner to greet the inauguration of President Eric Ng.
