08/20/2008 - The Chinese community in New York held a dinner to welcome KMT Chief Secretary Wu Den-Yih.
08/20/2008 - New York State Secretary of State Lorraine A.Cortes-Vazquez visited CCBA.
08/20/2008 - Legislator Wu Den-Yih, Chief-Secretary of Kuomingtang of Republic of China, visited CCBA.
08/18/2008 - A press conference was held at CCBA by the World Journal and Chinese American Voters Federation, to announce that people can bring 5 World Journal newspaper heads to CCBA, and to received a 2008 new version of the Naturalization Interview Questions booklet.
08/18/2008 - A press conference was held at CCBA, to announce detail information regarding the visit of Taipei Mayor Hau Lung-bin at the end of the month.
08/18/2008 - CCBA held the first "Double Ten" Preparation meeting, to discuss the details of this year's Double Ten parade and events.
08/17/2008 - Hosted by Chinatown Youth Initiatives and sponsored by the CCBA, volunteers performed the Fifth Chinatown Beautification Day.

08/01/2008 - Republic of China's Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission Minister Dr. Y.Y. Wu visited the New York Chinese School.  Prinicipal King Sheng Wong explained to him the updated information of the Chinese School.
08/01/2008 - The Hoy Sun Ning Yung Association held the inauguration ceremony of its president and officers.  Mr. Jack Eng was inaugurated as the new President of the Hoy Sun Ning Yung Association.
08/01/2008 - Republic of China's Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission Minister Dr. Y.Y. Wu visited CCBA, and unveiled the new "Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New York" board, written by R.O.C. President Ma Ying-jeou.

08/01/2008 - President Justin Yu and many community leaders went to LaGuardia Airport to welcome Republic of China's Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission Minister Dr. Y.Y. Wu.
