10/30/2006 - Ms. Ann Chiu, the head of Chinese Overseas Collection Reference Section of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Library, visited CCBA to exchange knowledge regarding overseas Chinese.
10/29/2006 - Gouverneur Hospital provided free flu shot service to the elderly residents at CCBA.
10/28/2006 - President Eric Ng attended the opening ceremony of the 14th Health Fair For Chinatown Community hosted by Saint Vincent's Hospital and Church of Transfiguration.
10/28/2006 - New York Downtown Hospital provided free flu shot service to the elderly residents at CCBA.
10/27/2006 - Chinese-American Voters Federation presented the prizes to the winners from the voter-registration drawing.
10/27/2006 - Chinese speaking officers from NYPD Manhattan South Borough Community Affairs Bureau setup monthly forums at CCBA meeting room to assist Chinese residents.
10/26/2006 - President Eric Ng attended the appreciation party of New York Downtown Hospital's Chinese Community Partnership for Health.
10/25/2006 - CCBA's board of directors approved a bill to reflect the voice against Taiwan's policies toward seeking independence.  The approved bill states that CCBA-NY will not accept any officials from the  Democratic Progressive Party to visit CCBA, until the DPP remove the goal of seeking independence from their party mission.  The bill also urges the Republic of China government not to combine the Oversea CHINESE Affairs Committee into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
10/24/2006 - President Eric Ng attended the annual gala dinner of Saint Vincent's Hospital.
10/23/2006 - President Eric Ng attended a press conference to ask the NYPD to relocate their headquarters to a less populated location.
10/19/2006 - President Eric Ng, Alex Wong and Justin Yu visited Commissioner John Doherty from New York City Department of Sanitation in their headquarters.  Commissioner Doherty announced that the DSNY will stop issuing residential violation tickets in Chinatown.
10/17/2006 - After reported by main stream media regarding the problems from movie production activities in Chinatown, Deputy Commissioner John Battista and other officials from the Mayor's Office of Film, Theater & Broadcasting visited CCBA to meet with local business owners and community leaders.
10/12/2006 - President Eric Ng attended the Lunar Stages event hosted by the Chinatown Partnership Local Development Corporation in Columbus Park.
10/10/2006 - CCBA hosted the annual Double Ten National Day Celebration for the Republic of China.  Please click here to see the pictures of the event.
10/08/2006 - President Eric Ng attended the flag raising event for the Double Ten National Day in Flushing.
10/07/2006 - President Eric Ng, who also serves as the chairperson of the Chinese American Voters Federation, attended a voter registration event at the Confucius Plaza.
10/06/2006 - Officials from NYC Department of Sanitation visited CCBA, to respond CCBA's complaints regarding DSNY's unreasonable summons few months ago. The officials agreed to check the streets in Chinatown commercial area once a day.
10/06/2006 - President Eric Ng attended an event of Brooklyn Chinese Association to celebrate its 13th anniversary.
10/04/2006 - The Fifth Precinct held the monthly community forum in CCBA.  A lot of residents attended to show supports to Mr. Ho, who was arrested for catching a thief on Mott Street on Sunday.  They explained what had happened directly to Commanding Officer D.I. Michael Lau.
10/03/2006 - President Eric Ng and some CCBA board members visited a few senior centers with large amount of Chinese population in the 5 boroughs, to express greeting to them for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
10/02/2006 - Wellington Chen, the executive director of Chinatown Partnership Local Development Corporation (CPLDC) and other staffs visited CCBA, to exchange ideas of how to improve the community with President Eric Ng.
