01/30/2010 - The American Cancer Society Eastern Division Asian Initiatives hosted a breast cancer screenings for the community at CCBA.
01/29/2010 - Census 2010 Representative Johnson Lee hosted a press conference at CCBA, to encourage Chinese American to participate in Census 2010.  He also reminded people to be aware from fake Census activities.
01/27/2010 - President Justin Yu attended a forum to discuss the status of Chinese Americans in New York City.  The forum was hosted by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office of New York.
01/27/2010 - Representatives from Manhattan District Attorney Office visited CCBA, and discussed the continuing cooperation after D.A. Cyrus Vance, Jr. took the office.
01/26/2010 - Mr. Thomas Sung, chairperson of the Abacus Saving Bank, donated $15,000 to New York Chinese School, to encourage Chinese language education.
01/25/2010 - President Justin Yu chaired his last CCBA board meeting.  All the board members took a group picture after the meeting.
01/25/2010 - CCBA presented the collected donation of U.S.$59,094.88 to American Red Cross of Greater New York.  William Exantus, Minister Counsellor of Haiti to the United Nations attended and thanked for the support from the Chinese American community.
01/24/2010 - CCBA, Baruch College VITA Program and China Trust Bank announced that the free taxation program would begin on February 6.
01/23/2010 - President Yu attended the photographs gallery of the Photographic Salon Society of New York.
01/22/2010 - President Justin Yu attended the 28 Anniversary Dinner of the Flushing Chinese Business Association, and accepted a community service award.
01/19/2010 - CCBA staff took an annual group picture to greet everyone a happy new year.
01/18/2010 - CCBA Annual Chinese opera performances will start after the Lunar New Year.  Representatives from different opera associations came to CCBA and decided the dates of their performances.
01/15/2010 - Mr. Jack Eng was elected the 61st president of CCBA.  He will be inaugurated on March 1st, 2010.
01/13/2010 - President Justin Yu and many community leaders went to the T.E.C.O. Office in Midtown and attended a farewell event for Deputy Director Vincent Chi.
01/13/2010 - A powerful earthquake occurred in Haiti and caused serious fatalities and damages.  President Justin Yu held a press conference and announced that CCBA would immediately start the disaster relief efforts, and donate the collected funds to the affected area through the Red Cross. 
01/12/2010 - Members from Committee 100 visited CCBA, and discussed a plan to post pictures of Chinese Americans in the exhibition during the Shanghai World Expo.
01/01/2010 - CCBA hosted the annual New Year and Republic of China government establishment celebration.  The community leaders also formed the Republic of China Centennial Preparatory Commission of Eastern United States.  During the event, Ambassador Andrew Kao presented appreciation certificates to those who donated to plant trees in Taiwan.
01/01/2010 - President Justin Yu, President James Wong and President Jack Eng attended the inauguration ceremony of Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Comptroller John Liu in the City Hall.
