06/30/2007 - President Eric Ng participated in the "Walk for Health" event, hosted by the New York Downtown Hospital to raise fund for its "Chinese Community Partnership for Health" Program.
06/28/2007 - Ambassador Andrew Hsia, the former general director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York, left New York for his new assignment. President Eric Ng went to the airport for a farewell.
06/27/2007 - The Chinese-American Voters Federation held an press conference at the CCBA meeting room, to release detail information for the citywide voters registration event on June 30.
06/26/2007 - New York City Department of Transportation distributed more than 300 free helmets to the bicycle delivery workers at CCBA .
06/26/2007 - New York City Department of Education held an event at the CCBA auditorium, and introduced Chinatown to the ESL teachers.
06/24/2007 - The Chinatown Marksmanship Association hosted a health fair at the CCBA auditorium.
06/23/2007 - President Eric Ng, who also serves as the board chairman of the New York Chinese School, attended the graduation ceremony.
06/22/2007 - CCBA welcomed General Wu Shih-wen, the president of Overseas Chinese Association, who also served as the ROC Defense Minister from 2000-2002.
06/22/2007 - President Eric Ng, President Alex Wong and Acting President Yuk-Tsen Wang accepted appreciation certificates from Ambassador Andrew Hsia, at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York.
06/21/2007 - Ambassador Kenneth K.M. Liao, the new general director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York, arrived New York.  President Eric Ng and Justin Yu went to the airport to welcome him.
06/21/2007 - Saint Vincent's Hospital hosted a free prostate cancer screening service at the CCBA auditorium.

 

06/20/2007 - New York County District Attorney's Office, NYPD and other agencies held a Crime Prevention Seminar for the Chinese Community in CCBA.
06/19/2007 - New York City Commissioner of Transportation Janette Sadik-Khan visited CCBA, to announce the bicycle safety procedures that must be placed at commercial business locations that make deliveries by bicycle effective 7/26.  She also announced the details of the free hamlets distribution program.
06/18/2007 - The N-NORC Program of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York held a seminar at CCBA, to teach senior citizens the correct way of walking.
06/15/2007 - The Chinatown Daycare Center, a division under CCBA, hosted it annual graduation ceremony.
06/15/2007 - Margaret Chin, the deputy executive director of the Asian American for Equality, visited CCBA, and announced that the AAFE's mobile service team will provide housing counseling to area residents, reading letters, and other service referrals at CCBA when needed. The program will run every Monday from June 18, 2007 to August 27, 2007.
06/15/2007 - Many organizations hosted a press conference at CCBA, to announce that there would be a "Crime prevention Seminar for the Chinese Community" held at CCBA on June 20, 2007.
06/14/2007 - St. Vincent's Hospital hosted a press conference at CCBA, to announce a free prostate cancer screening program on June 21.
06/13/2007 - Jeffrey Menkes, the new president and CEO of New York Downtown Hospital visited CCBA, and thanked for the continuous supports from the Chinese community.
06/12/2007 - Sponsored by the Abacus Saving Bank, 25 students from the Chinatown Daycare Center accepted free vision checkup.
06/08/2007 - Ambassador Andrew Hsia, the general director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York, will be assigned to India soon. CCBA hosted a farewell party, and presented him an appreciation plaque.
06/08/2007 - Margaret Chin, a very active community leader, announced at CCBA that she would run for the City Council position for the First District (including Chinatown area) in the 2009 Election.
06/07/2007 - American Red Cross of Greater New York hosted their annual Volunteers Recognition Day at their headquarters, and presented a "Good Neighbor Award" to CCBA.
06/06/2007 - The NYPD Fifth Precinct hosted the last CCBA police-community forum before the summer break. The CCBA police-community forum host no meeting in July and August every year. The next meeting will be resumed on September 5.
06/05/2007 - Carol Bolam, Deputy Director of the New York State Empire Zone Program, explained the details of the Chinatown/Lower East Side Empire Zone.

 

06/05/2007 - Thomas Sung, the chairperson of the Abacus Saving Bank, visited CCBA and announced a free vision checkup program for the children of the Chinatown Daycare Center on June 19.  The bank will pay for any cost for the checkup and glasses for the children.

 

06/01/2007 - Samuel Lehrfeld, the president and CEO of the Brooklyn Hospital Center visited CCBA, and introduced their services to the Chinese community.
