This picture was taken in 1879.  There was a "Third Avenue Line" running on the Bowery and there was another train running on Park Row.  Chatham Square was the intersection of the two lines at that time. 
 
這張照片攝於1879年。當時包厘上有『三大道架空鐵路』行駛，柏路上亦有地面鐵路行駛。且林士果當時乃兩條鐵路交匯處。該兩條鐵路被拆除後成為今日且林士果廣場。
