These pictures show the building of 191 Canal Street.  The picture on the left hand side was taken around 1949, because the banner hanging outside the building mentioned the cerebration of the founding of "People's Republic of China". The one on the right was taken in 2006, and the building is now the location of Lt. B.R. Kimlau Chinese Memorial Post 1291, the American Legion, Department of New York.
