03/19/2014 - President Eric Ng and his assistant Gary Tai attended the Parks Committee meeting of Community Board 3, to seek their supports to let the statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen continue to be placed in Columbus Park.  The Committee voted to allow the statue to continue placing there until a decision is made by the NYC Public Design Commission.

03/19/2014 - 伍銳賢主席與戴日基主席助理前赴第三社區公園委員會陳情，希望國父銅像可以繼續安放華埠哥倫布公園。會後委員會一致通過，在紐約市公共設計委員會作出最終安置決定前，國父銅像可繼續安放在哥倫布公園內。
