09/03/2011 - Fang Wong, who was elected the National Commander of American Legion, visited CCBA along with the executive officers of the American Legion Chinese Memorial Post 1291, to thank the community's supports to his campaign.  On behalf of the Chinese community, President Jack Eng congratulated for his victory.

09/03/2011 - 當選全國美國退伍軍人主席的黃宏達主席，帶領紐約華裔退伍軍人會骨幹拜訪中華公所，感謝在過往兩、三年社區對他參選的大力支持。伍權碩主席代表僑社對黃宏達主席當選表示祝賀。
