05/17/2008 - CCBA setup a few stations in front of the building, to raise money for the victims in the China's earthquake.  Chinese-Americans were very generous to help the victims in the motherland. 05/17/2008 - 自四川大地震發生後，中華公所在門前設立捐款站，籌募善款。僑胞們都踴躍捐獻，出力幫助國內受難同胞。
